CausesThe penis has two vascular bodies that are known as the corpora cavernosa. Urethra tube allows you to ejaculate and urinate. Your urethra has tissues that contain veins, nerves, arteries all around it. The shaft is the long part of your penis and the head is the tip. The name for the opening is meatus. For erection to start, it gets stimulation. This is either from psychological or physical caused that allow the nerves to send messages to the vascular system so that you can have blood flow into the penis. The arteries that are located in the penis is what supplies blood to the tissue and corpora cavernosa. This will create an expansion and erection. The blood must stay in the penis for you to maintain an erection. The tissue in the penis is what prevents the blood from leaving during an erection. After the ejaculation the pressure in the penis will then decrease and the blood will be released. As the blood flows out, the erection will go away. |
